Homemade Rosemary Truffle Garlic Crispy Oven Fries

Fries are a staple dish in the United States, especially in Texas! One thing I love about fries is the variety of ways you can create them. My favorite recipe for fries is my very own rosemary garlic truffle fries. If you ask me rosemary, garlic and truffle are suppose to go together. I use this combination of flavors on a lot of dishes I love to make. These fries are so good you are sure to bite your fingers. Did I mention they are vegan?


You can make these delicious fries for friends or family on any occasion with just ten simple ingredients.


Ingredients ( 4 to 5 servings)

  1. 3 small rustic potatoes

  2. Extra virgin olive oil

  3. 2 rosemary stems

  4. pink Himalayan salt

  5. ground oregano

  6. garlic powder

  7. paprika

  8. ground black pepper

  9. onion powder

  10. H-E-B Sabatino Truffle Zest

Utensils

  1. Baking sheet/pan

  2. Parchment Paper

  3. Heat resistant spatula

  4. Bowl

  5. Sharp knife


Instructions

  1. Scrub and wash your rustic potatoes thoroughly

  2. Take your two rosemary stems and wash them

  3. Pick the leaves off your rosemary stems

  4. Mince and chop your rosemary leaves until they are very fine and almost ground

  5. Place the rosemary to the side

  6. Thinly cut your potatoes into thin slices

  7. Place the pieces into a large bowl of your choice

  8. Drizzle a tablespoon worth of olive oil in the bowl

  9. Mix the fries with the oil using your hands

  10. I don't measure but I'd advise 1/2 a teaspoon of each season into the bowl (except the rosemary)

  11. Mix it with your hands

  12. Sprinkle a bit of each season again just a shake over the fries from their respective containers

  13. Mix with your hands

  14. Take a large baking sheet/pan and oil

  15. Line the sheet/pan with parchment paper and not foil

  16. Oil the parchment paper

  17. Add your fries

  18. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

  19. Place your fries in the oven for 35 to 40 min ( check every 15 minutes and stir the fries)

  20. You're done!

I ended up pairing these with some grilled vegan hotdogs using Beyond Meats Brat Sausage Links. Peep my meal! The fries look so good but I promise you they taste even better!
